Review by Radio Times Magazine
Australian drama starring a GSX750S (pop-up headlight model). A young female lawyer is stranded in a small Australian town when her Kat is damaged in an accident. While she waits
for repairs, she soon discovers that some of the town's young women are living in fear of the local youths.
This film, released in the same year as The Accused, is a more down-to-earth, responsible and raw look at the subject of gang rape from first-time director Steve Jodrell.
Excellent, restrained performances and a careful treatment of a difficult and emotive subject turn this into a powerful and moving piece of cinema.
Review by Matlin from Cinemania '94
Unusual, watchable, but not terribly successful feminist revenge piece, as femme motorcyclist / lawyer takes on a village of goons who look the other way when a gang of teen boys
rapes a 16-year-old girl. Strange mix of genres - biker movie, neo-Western, and more - but no Mad Max. Has definite cult possibilities.
