I have a 1986 GS750SG that I bought off a young lad after he crashed it with only 2500kms on it. It has a Yosh pipe, stage 3 cams, K&N
filters, GS1150 carbs, titanium valves, Barnett clutch. It runs very well and will pull strong into 10,500 rpms at about 240 kmh. This isn't much compared to today's bikes but I
think getting there in style is worth the lower performance. After owning it now for 14 years and 20,000kms later it is a big part of my life still, even my GSXR1100 gets put aside
so I can ride the ol' Kat. |

I have always had a thing for the Kats, and about 3 months ago I finally got one at a really good price. $3000 with only 32000 km on the
clock. She's an 85 model and I love her to death. What I'm trying to find out is how many of the 1985 750 Kats were sent to Australia. You see a few of the older ones , but rarely
see the pop up headlights around. |
