I want a modified 1100 Kat. Have been offered great original 750, so will need frame mods, new engine and only really use the bodywork, clocks and seat. I am feeling guilty about the potential breaking of a good standard 750, but not sure I ever find decent parts piece by piece. Suggestions please.

Just going down that route myself ;-) I bought a 750 frame already modified to take oil cooled GSXR motor off flebay, plenty of quality parts avalable if you wait, don't know if i would want to do it to a complete bike though ! Good luck, keep us posted ;-)

I would feel guilty about modifying a really good original 1000 or 1100 but not a 750.
