| Hello Dave, Don't be offended but I wouldn't bother, the upgrades needed to make the bike work safely with a gixxer engine will leave you with just the frame & that will need bracing.I have a 750 gixxer & 2 Kats,it's like a cheetah & and an elephant.I love my kats but they are what they are, then again the more kats chopped up & messed around with the more mine will be worth, see johnr's comments on the question about the thousand kat.Royp |

I have a Katana 750 which I'm fitting out with a GSXR1000 K3 swing arm, GSXR USD forks, GSXR wheels, brakes, rearsets etc etc, but I'm sticking a GSX1100 motor into it to A) make it a quick bike but with the simplicity of a straight forward slot it of an air cooled engine, and B) keep the Katana look. Will be bracing the frame before shotblast & powdercoat though.
It'll be unmistakeably a Katana, but with modern sports bike stuff. |
